The picture is of his Great Grandparents, Judson T. and Mary E. Sherman (aka Mary E. Jenkins) Willsey. He received this from a descendant of Clarinda Willsey. On the back of the photo is a note: This is Clarinda Willsey Avery Wark Willsey's (Her married names) parents.

Great Grandmother Mary E. was the widow of another Civil War soldier from Jackson Co., WI., William German who was killed in the early part of the war. Judson T. had two children by Mary; Jabey and Clarinda Willsey. Mary remarried (3rd marriage) to Delmar Wheeler.
